Media

Our media program is designed to help students become lifelong library users. Students come to the media center once a week for a 30 minute lesson. The media curriculum is designed to help students develop their research skills, introduce them to a variety of genres and help them develop a love of reading. Reading is an important part of everybody's life so we encourage all students to check out a book each week. The more students read the better they become at reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar and communication skills.
Throughout the year different events are celebrated to promote reading. One yearly event is our book fair. The profits from the sales are used to purchase materials for the Forest View Media Center.
Our door is always open so come on in.
